This tool is a paper based weighed food diary. Using weighed portion sizes, the weighed food diary was intended to measure the average weekly dietary intake of children and adolescents. This tool has been validated once in 1992.

McCance and Widdowson ‘s The Composition of Foods (4th Edition), including supplementary food composition data was used in the validation study. An updated version of the nutrient database is required.
