This new semi-quantitative FFQ, specifically designed for the Italian population and best fitted for self-administration. This tool has been validated with the mean of 3-day food diaries and one 24-hour recall once in 2018.

The FFQ was developed by selecting the GNA-FFQ as a reference questionnaire from the guide to the measurement of diet and physical activity provided by The National Obesity Observatory, and regularly updated food list in accordance with changes in U.S. food consumption.
