Summary

This tool is a semi-quantitative web-based food frequency questionnaire, which includes up to 630 questions. Using standard portion sizes and photographs, the tool was designed to investigate the dietary intake of Fe and Zn and their absorption modifiers. This tool has been validated once in 2005.

Updates to the food composition table and database mapping is required to use the dietary assessment tool due to reformulation of food in the UK since 2005.
