This tool is a paper based estimated food diary in which portion sizes were estimated using standard household measures. The tool was developed to measure the average dietary intake across 5 days in infants and children aged 6-24 months. This tool has been validated once in 2001.
Additional support via phone calls or home visits were made to aid participants with completion of dietary information. An update to the food composition table is required.
