Summary

This tool is a paper based multiple-pass 24 hour recall which included three stages: a 'quick list', a 'detailed description of food and beverage items consumed' and a 'review'. Using food models, this tool was used to measure the average dietary intake of young children in the previous 24 hours. This tool has been validated three times.

This tool is an adapted version of the one used by the US Department of Agriculture (Moshfegh et al., 1999). An updated food composition table is required.
