Tool Information: AMPM

Action
Full Nutrient Retrospective 1 day 24 Hour Recall No

Summary

This tool is a computerised, interviewer-administered 24 hour dietary recall with multiple-pass approach. It is based on earlier paper-based multiple pass recall methods, but the AMPM includes a new portion estimation food model booklet, new food probe questions with automatic response routing and specialised training for interviewers and coders. The tool is designed to enhance the complete and accurate recalling of food items while reducing participant burden. It has been used in national surveys in the US and Canada suchas: What We Eat in America, National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.
