Summary

This tool is a quantitive food frequency question to be administered by a trained interviewer. It contains 145-items including 41 traditional foods and 8 categories of consumption frequency. The tool was developed for use in an intervention study called Healthy Foods North (HFN) which aims to reduce dietary- and lifestyle-related risk factors to chronic disease in Inuvialuit. The tool was subsequently validated in 2010 by Pakseresht and Sharma.
