Summary
This tool is a 24 hour recall that includes 4 questions to measure respondent consumption of the 4 food groups outlined in the Canada Food Guide. The questionnaire was used in the COMPASS study, designed to follow a cohort of ~30,000 students to understand how changes in school characteristics are associated with changes in youth health behaviours. The questionnaire used is designed to facilitate multiple large-scale school-based data collections using self-reported measures. The tool was validated in 2013.
