Summary
This tool is a self-administered, semiquantitative and simple food frequency questionnaire (FFQ) comprising 102 food items. The tool was developed to measure consumption of specific foods over the previous year. The tool was validated against two computer assisted 24-hour recalls in 2007.

Special Considerations
The scope of the tool was beyond assessing individual portion sizes but frequency of food intake in order to diminish respondent burden. The FFQ was developed d using EPIC Potsdam baseline dietary data.
