This self-administered short questionnaire (SQ) was designed to qualitatively assess the intake of total fat, SFA, PUFA, MUFA, and cholesterol in adults by means of 20 food items. This inexpensive and quickly completed SQ can be used to classify persons according to their total fat intake or different kinds of fat. No answering categories on portion sizes were given. The SQ was validated against an extensive FFQ in 2003.

The short food list is a selection of items from previous responses of an FFQ and seven-day food records. The questionnaire is shown in the Appendix of the publication.
