Summary

This tool is a paper based estimated food diary. Using coloured photographs, weighing scales and household measures, it is intended to measure the usual weekly dietary intake of middle-aged to older adults. This tool has been validated twice.

Special Considerations

Dietary intakes were analysed by using the programme DINER. No funding is longer available for diaries to be entered at the study centre in Cambridge, however people are welcome to visit in order to see the DINE programme.
