Summary

The tool was developed to produce a simple, quick, accurate and engaging method for assessing the previous day dietary and physical activity behaviours in adults. The web based 24 hour recall was developed to assess intake of fruit and vegetable (portions), % of food energy from fat and moderate-to-vigorous physical activity. Dietary intake was measured by using a predefined list of 102 foods and 18 drinks. This tool has been validated once in 2012.

Special Considerations

The tool is a simliar prototype to the SNAP tool developed by Moore et al., 2008, with the tool measuring dietary and physical activity behaviours simultaneously. The tool is currently offline and in a stage of upgrade. Please contact the tool owner for more details.
